Maurice Jones is an internationally known technical editor with particular expertise in all 'underground' activities. Qualified as a colliery manager, he has 31 years of post-qualification experience in industrial marketing services, technical editing and journalism, mining, utilities construction, surveying, project planning and materials handling. He has worked as a consultant to many construction manufacturers and industrial magazines. This includes launching 'Microtunnelling' and 'Plant Hire Review', editing 'Tunnels & Tunnelling International', acting as Executive Editor of 'World Tunnelling' and editing the Tunnel Lining Design Guide for the British Tunnelling Society in co-operation with the countries leading experts in the country. He is an accredited journalist with tunneljournalists.com.
